Starbound
Starbound OST and Trailer Music
Hello, I bought starbound and the OST because I absolutely love the music. The trailer music was ultimately what cinched the deal for me getting it now. I loved terraria and had planned to get Starbound a little after Beta, but damn, that music.

Anyways. I'm looking or wondering if the songs in the trailer are in the OST. I've already been listening to the OST and love it thus far. If they are, can someone point out the song titles for me? There seems to be three separate songs.

0.001-1.23
1.23-2.44
2.45-4.10

Is how I have them broken down. Any help would be amazing!

Just giving this a bump as it has gone unanswered thus far.
I am unable to indentify the trailer music as well. I do not beleive the OST we currently have access too is completed. (It's from April) It also does not seem to include the menu music. I hope it's updated (At least at launch) with a complete ST!
Well damn. Don't get me wrong, the music is absolutely gorgeous on its own, but it does seem incomplete if the menu music isn't even in the OST..
Thought I was the only one! The music at 2:45 made me fall in love so badly. However I'm not buying the game until I know the name of this song.
Ay, I've listened to the whole soundtrack, put a few hours into the game already, and there are TONS of songs missing from the supposed "OST" you can purchase. Can we please get a comment about an update to the OST or are we just wasting our time and money at this point?

Just for those curious, the OST you can buy is gorgeous, I am not knocking it. But there are quite a few songs in the game that are NOT in what you are purchasing.
Hey guys...I was fishing around for the same theme music as well.

I've found it.

Go down to "Starbound". At least, for the last half of the building trailer, it starts at like 5:30 or so.
You can find the music that is in the current game and not in the soundtrack in your Steam folder in .ogg format. Then you can use a program to convert them to something like .mp3 or whatever format you prefer for your music player or computer. I don't know much about .ogg but I know media players usually can play them, such as VLC or whatnot. I know it's not an "official" soundtrack download but it's certainly is good enough to get those tracks that are really good but missing from the OST, such as the aforementioned "Planetarium."
Program Files > Steam > steamapps > common > Starbound > assets > music>
Just in case anyone needed any help.
YOU ARE WONDERFUL!! Thank you. I use Format Factory to convert easily.
I have found the starting trailer music. I've been checking the steam folder (also, it doesn't seem to appear in my OST music that I received buying the game from their site) and the name is "error-0xbfaf000". It starts in 1:45
