How do you beat dreadwing?

I have the best armor and weapons i can make right now but he has beat me 3 times.
I have titanium armor and weapons. But i get over welmed by the penguins.

I took down the boss with a powerful rocket launcher I got from exploring,so maybe you should explore some planets before you head against this boss.

Also, pack like 30 bandages or so.

i have explored alot but i guess i can explore more and i had way more then 30 bandages my problem is i run out of stam to fast killing the penguins then i have nothing left to shoot at the dreadwing and by the time i have stam again i have to kill penguins again. Pleas dont quote the i have to kill penguins lol .

he can be taken down with any range weapon atm, his AI isnt perfect, as such at great ranges he wont come after you. use this method if you simply want to progress.

legit method would be, have a shield hotbard or in your default loadout, and when he comes in for the big hit or with a sweeping attack block it, from there you'll want jump buffs if you choose to use melee. if you use melee, it will be harder BUT you could also smack harder with slower, high damage weapons. otherwise you'll want to use ranged weapons, again accurate weapons or powerful weapons would be best.

from there just have decent buff foods, and plenty of healing items. try to take down a large area of minions and drag him to it then you worry less about tanks and random minion damage.

hmm guess i suck then i have tried that i have a shield and i am the race that starts with guns and i have made both the titanium guns and still get overwelmed with penguins because i kill them and more spawn and i have to kill them. I just run out of stam to fast.

It's kind of an endurance trial unfortunately. Your armor is probably as good as it can be, but your weapons might be lacking. If you're having that much trouble, I'd say do more exploring and look for a stronger ranged weapon. If you don't have techs yet, find some and you'll be more agile in combat.

I have all the techs that i can get right now double jump , dash and the bubble one.
And i have titanium guns and armor.

yeah tech can make all the diff. pulse jump would allow for smacking him with a good 2 handed weapon. i went at him with a 2 hand sword that had a .77 attack rate but like, 400-500 damage per swing.

and it was a cactus sword so it threw spines xP. weapons like that can make all the diff.
