NPCs are so laggy
Starbound plays perfectly while no NPCs around, but when I see a bunch of them (Jesus Christ... The Outpost), the FPS dips down to like 3 frames per second. I don't see why a computer that can play Fallout 3 decently can't run a game like this.

I've looked around the internet, but I can't find any fixes.

its early beta, they a working on it, like minecraft Alpha time, were it every Time crash or lag,

The outpost; the hubworld you're tied to! It will bring your PC's performance to it's knees, it's that amazing!

Samething happens when I am in window mode on my garden planet, something about an 10 story build with 8 floors full of plants... In full screen it is a little better and less noticeable my cpu usage goes through the roof on this game.. idle not on the garden I am using 2 cores, on planets I am using 3 cores..

I am thinking about testing it out on my Windows Machien or even Steam OS

CPU AMD Phenom II x6 1055T
Memory 16 Gigs
GPU GeForce GTX 660
Drivers NVidia 352.09

maybe it help, well for me little bit.

1. Disable Vsync in your Starbound.ini, you can find it in your starbound folder.
2. start es direct as Admin not over steam and not over the launcher....
There is a .....Exe were its starts direct.
