what's the best or worst tier 8 ship in your opinion

In my opinion the best tier 8 ship is either Avian or glitch, just because of all the space they have.

however the worst tier 8 ship I would say is the Novakids ship, it's just so tiny.

So... what is your opinion on the matter?

I also think that Novakids have the worst one, but because of the design.

I think Florans have the best one, but my Hylotl ship isn't tiny at all, either.

Novakid ship is beyond terrible. It is ugly, the design is poor efficiency-wise and it makes no sense given Novakids’ mindset. They tend to forget anything from generation or two ago, yet they cling to antique train design?!

Apex is second worst: it is just plain ugly.

I like all other races’ ships, though Florans’ is the best, in my opinion. It both looks really nice, and offers plenty of space, including a big room.

I happen to like the apex ship because of the future like design... And I guess has a sizable space in it

Novakid is my favourite race but I agree, the ship is the worst of them all. It's just too long and I don't like the colours. I probably like Glitch and Hylotl ships best, the rooms are nicely varied in sizes and yet the ships feel really compact which I like.

I like to addapt and assimilate whatever I can come by, so I like the floran ship!

I can agree that the novakids dont make much sense, altrought they might reasonably have a fairly small ship. with limited tech and short atention span their nomadic lifestyle might make them want a smaller construction, rather than big cargo ship. But I dont get the train design! A train goes on a route. a track. back and forth. reliable and on time. Taking people where they need to go out of necessity. This isnt really much like a Novakid.

Old thread, but all the ships are the same size in terms of internal block count. If you look at the starting room of the t1 ship, each t8 has roughly 12 of those "room blocks" arranged in various patterns, with 2-4 small closet/connector rooms. The glitch and hylotl ships have fewer large rooms and more small rooms. The novakid ship has the most open space.

I honestly beleive your all forgeting the human ship, it has a sizable ammount of room, looks nice - honestly I think it fits the character. I don't mean to brag but I I play alot of sci-fi games (my most prominent being FTL at the time of writing), and I have seen alot of bad ship designs. I think the human one is quite nice.

I think human was supposed to look as humanly sci-fi as possible.

The people saying the Novakids forget thing from a generation or 2 ago are incorrect that's how the community like to think about the Novakid's however their creator came out and said the community has got it all wrong, they are designed to essentially have ADD which is not them being forgetful rather them losing interest in something.

My fav race by faaaar is NovaKid but the ship is total crusty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crap from the colours to the space its just descusting anyways my 2 favs are Apex and Human

glitch is probably my fav ship and i like the race, its sad that they really just ♥♥♥♥ on novakid with that HORROR OF A TRASH BAG ship its small and... rainbows? why? its disgusting and i want to put a gun to the owner of the games head and make him change it hylotyl is pretty cool too 2nd fav ship but they look goofy and funky i dont like it, human pretty cool but i think apex is TOO big its annoying to get around and its a confusing layout
