A Co-op spaceship?

I play co-op games with my son. So I'm disappointed that co-op in Starbound only lets us teleport to each other's ship. Being on the same ship and each of us customizing our half of it would be more fun. Flying our ships separately to the same planets isn't the same. Maybe a group ship option with captain and crew someday?

You dont HAVE to take your own ship to other planets, you can infact fly on there ship also, but you cant activate it.

Either that or their time+date settings on their devices are set wrong and they think its april first.

Also, Steve a ''co-op'' space ship was never advertised to be a feature in this game at all, you can both use 1 ship but you will need to double up on resources if you and your son both want the new techs with the ship upgrades and to get matter manipulator upgrades.

Also this game is SUPER early access so i am very shocked you though this would be a feature complete fun experience for you and your son.

I understand you spend more time being a parent then a video game savvy shopper so just a FYI to do a little research on how complete a early access game is and if it suites what you want for a ''co-op father and son'' game.

Double up on resources(so you both get techs+upgrades) and both use 1 ship (for what you want id reccomend a novakid ship).

Plus there are several mods used to spawn in building mat's, you could just use one of those with that ship decoration takes no time at all.

Yea, Steve. You really need to make use of a foster family, or perhaps even give up the boy for permanent adoption. Especially if he's impinging on your ability to play or read up on Early Access games.

But in reality there's nothing stopping you from upgrading your ship and giving him an area to furnish himself. Don't think co-op spaceships will ever be a thing in the game.
