That would be your full combo. Yes, you need to admin yourself in order to spawn things in. As long as you are in admin mode you will not take damage, will have all the recipes and whatnot unlocked, and various godly things like that. The second admin command is to remove your admin powers in order to play the game normally once you've spawned your items in. There should never be a space in an item name; spaces separate the different variables in the command. Keep in mind you can admin yourself whenever when in singleplayer, but it order to do it on a multiplayer server you will need an administrator account (that's what the username and password boxes are for).
Some, like Ornate wood, are simple.

However, some items, like the "Metal Object" block have completely different spawn names. (Below chain is used in chat to spawn a metal object block. The Starbound wiki is very useful when trying to find what name to use when spawning an item.)

whenever i tried to spawn using this it would spawn a Perfectly Generic Item
Look under /spawnitem, it has suggestions for where to find the item IDs.
NO item will spawn for me
