Water on ship?

So I thought it would be cool to have one of the lower rooms on my ship, filled with water. It seems though, that you cant fill any part of your ship with water. Everytime I try it just disappears and will only hold one block deep of water. I tried lining the room with different blocks and it didn't make a difference. Does anybody know of a way to fiil a room in your ship with water?

I have noticed windows and the borders between rooms suck up fluids somehow, remove them or block them to fill your ship

u gotta use blocks to make a pool to let it stay. i recently made a small pool with healing water so can hop in it to regen

Did I say that? No.

Now we just have to destroy the ground (if they put one)to make the liquid go aways...
and no need to have the upgrade of the matter to remove the liquid of griefer.

this worked for me. I was able to completely fill a room by blocking the doorway and filling in the background over the windows. Thanks.

You are aware that nothing on your ship can hurt you, including lava, right?
