Cant find pickaxe recipe in the crafting table

Either I'm blind, retarded, or it's not there. I can't find the crafting option for the stone pickaxe and it's really annoying me. I've even used the search function and it comes up with nothing. I put in 'stone' and get the furnace and stone bricks. Please help!

No stone, copper is what you need.

Your only starting mining tool is now Matter Manipulator, which sucks. It digs faster atleast.

I don't think there's a stone pickaxe anymore. You can craft some metal ones at the anvil once you get one, but they're kind of not worth it IMO. They break so fast and you can't repair them.

Instead just upgrade the matter manipulator at your ship computer.

They remove the stone picaxe now it's the matter manipulator and copper picaxe
