Link for Hamachi download that doesn't have a virus?

Just wondering. I got Starbound for a friend of mine who's not a big gamer, and doesn't know much about computer stuff. When I got Hamachi, I also contracted the Conduit virus, and it was very annoying. Now, I was able to get rid of it, but I don't want this friend of mine to have to put up with it.

So, where can I get a download of Hamachi that doesn't also install Conduit?

I'm not sure what shady website you tried to get it from before but there is no 'virus' with Hamachi

Conduit>virus
Conduit is bundled malware not a virus. And last time I check all that bundled junk requires you to click yes multiple times and even allows you to click no. Next time actually read what you are agreeing to.

Or just, yaknow, portforward. Its much less of a hassle and doesn't require software downloads.

The conduit thing I had wouldn't let me progress until I accepted, so I just did it and thought I could uninstall it later. Which I did... Though it was more complex than that.

As for port forwarding, that's a different proccess for every different internet provider. I haven't been able to figure out how to get mind quite yet.

how would you know? Without antivirus you won't even notice most viruses, yet they will be there stealing your info and using your computer for botnets, spreading through usb flash sticks to other computers. Surfing in internet without antivirus is same thing as having unsafe sex, you might get lucky and not catch something for some time until you do. Before calling somone dumb for catching virus, notice that your are not better because your computer is not protected at all.
