How do you get a superior brain?

So I was running around the beta sector trying to find what I needed to do next. Then I stumbled on the blueprint in the metal work station for robot parts. The ominous description leads me to believe that to progress I need to build it. (Not using any guides).

I have everything except the right brain. After killing oh about 50 or so monsters trying to get the special brain I need to craft the even more special brain for the robot and only getting the dinky blue brains I started thinking. "Maybe to get the superior brain I need to use the extractor on one of the sentient races?) then after an entire prison of humans I got nothing.

TL;dr

I'm at a loss. How do I get the superior brain?

now you know how he fights..so try again. i guess you are not the only one who died on the first try - without tactics or equipement.. ;)

but better stop playing now.. the next boss will not be any easier..

btw..there is already a lot of content in the game. it´s still a beta though..and a good one.
