is starbound worth it content wise?
i have seen people saying dont buy it its a scam, and i have seen others saying its good, go get it, so i am totally lost on if i should get it or not, so now i am wondering if it has more or atleast better content then terraria (which i own)

Doesn't have as much content as Terraria. It could someday, just not now. Lots of potential. I'd say wait.

im just confused, its split 50 50, 50% is saying its a scam and the others say its not, it does however look fun

I see potential in it, but right now, other than building, there inst much going for it.
Wait for the release, its the safest bet.

Even as it stands right now, $15 is still a good investment. It can only get better. People complain about everything they don't like, but fail to realize it's still in alpha. I remember playing Minecraft before version 1.0 and now look at it. It's also twice the money.

You can try Crea. Or Signs of Life. Edge of Space is another option. But, the best choice is going to be Terraria hands down.

Edit: How can you run Civ 5 and not Starbound? Just out of curiosity.

who are you talking too?

The only thing that I can suggest is to manualy go into your steam folder and open Starbound. There should be a file called XML. Try manualy DLing that and the .net file if it is on your system. Once you do that, restart and see if it runs.

You, because I was looking at your game history and some of those games are more heavy then Starbound, so I was trying to give you some advise. And yes, I know you do not have Starbound, but the file should exisit in almost any other game since it is a framework file.

I've put 80 hours into it so far and that is pretty low compared to some people. So yes, I'd say it's just fine.
