Also most of these plants exist in the 3rd dimension and are not normally flat. This game has so many things wrong with it.

Banana plants are the size of trees.

Wheat doesn't need to be replanted.
Wheat will need to be replanted if a UFO comes down and makes a really neat design in your field, then covers it with low level radiation. lol

This is absolutely untrue. Kiwis grow on vines that are often trained to grow vertically before spreading their vines horizontally. The process is very similar to how grapes are grown in commercial viticulture. The base of a kiwi vine may look like a thin tree trunk, but it only looks like that because it was trained to grow vertically first.

Kiwi vines are lignum. Kiwi fruits are not "trained" to grow vertically. Even in nature they grow vertically without any supports. The reason why farmers put support on kiwifruit is because they can harvest them much more efficiently that way. My grandmother used to run kiwi farm. I spent half of my childhood playing in there. Get your facts right.

I meant to point out that pineapples don't grow on trees.
Size of banana trees vary from species to species. Some are barely 1m tall.
Also in-game it says bananas are genetically enhanced, so there's really no point to that.

And no, wheats do need to be replanted after harvesting.

Kiwi vines do have a woody skin, but that does not mean they grow like a tree. I understand you say your grandmother used to run a kiwi farm, but maybe you were young and confused? I'd like to see proof that unattended kiwi vines can grow vertically without a support system, because I've never seen it.

I should also point out that I have also spent a lot of time around farming operations, including Kiwi plots, and not just as a child, but as an adult. Your hostility is unwarrented, and you might possibly consider checking the facts you claim I am not aware of.

Actinidias are rampant plants and their trunks never become sturdy enough to hold the plants up off the ground of their own accord. Under cultivation plants must be trained to some sort of support that is both sturdy and allows vines adequate room to ramble.

you won't find it in internet, farmers always use support to grow them. Kiwi plant usually grow in fairly straight line for few months, but after reaching 1~1.5 meters, top parts branch out like vines. That's when farmers put supports on top to let it spread out. Without supports they will look similar to willow trees. They don't grow straight like bamboos but they also don't creep on the grounds like watermelon vines. I guess you're part right and part wrong.

What you have seen is the vines becoming entangled and growing up their own vegetation mass. In that scenario they have essentially created a trellis system with their own mass of vines. My experience has shown me that Kiws are grown almost identical to grapes, but they are grown over a taller trellis system, and generally trained from very early on. I'm not meaning to be rude, but in no way am I wrong.

Tell me, yes, they do need trellis system to grow properly, but they don't crawl on the ground just because they are without trellis. Kiwi stalks don't entangle from the bottom. So does grapes. Main kiwi stalk is not colony of multiple vines entangled together. It's one solid stalk.

Plus, people bred kiwi for hundreds of years. That's why it requires human hands and trellis to grow it properly. And yes, they are generally trained from very early on, they make living out of selling kiwis. But believe me, kiwis grow straight for first few years.

If I'm not mistaken, this is very different from kiwis in real life.

My original point was this, I wasn't arguing about whether kiwis are straight or not. I don't much care if kiwis are straight or gay. Either way is fine.
