Breathing EPP issue

Hey everyone , i have the Breathing EPP equiped (not in the cosmetic slot but in the armor slot) and i still cant breath underwater... my character is dying , anyone knows why ? thanks !

I mean, if it's really the right slot and the right upgrade, i don't see how it shouldn't work in vanilla. Are you using mods?

Hey thanks for quick answer , im currently playing 1.4.4 version with few mods yeah
Faster Warps, Atmosphere plus, Memento Mori, Locate those fossils, Rotten food remover, EZ no pixel Loss for Survival, Disabled drop for survival mode, Cooked tentacle recipe, Submarine.

The Submarine mod changes the breathing mechanics to where breathing epps no longer works underwater.

oh i see , i just bough the yellow submarine, if i remove the mod my submarine will disapear? Im new on Starbound im kinda lost :p

If it comes from the mod yes.

If it comes from the mod yes.

I can't confirm if this what will happen, but if the submarine is in an inventory / storage, without the mod, it might transorm into "generic item".
