What should I put on my ship?
I'm trying to make my ship look semi-realistic, with a room for beds, a common room etc., and I wondered if anyone had a few tips for A) any decorations that my crew will interact with other than chairs, and B) a type of block that would blend into the ship, so it looks like it was there the whole time. (I'm using a floran ship). Thanks!

piano, arcade, bongo, doors, firepits... well what they interact with. Hmm.. as far as blending goes, just make a holodeck that has the camping stuff of fire pit. Of course that would be a total overhaul of an individual room.

Could have an arcade or music room, or flat out entertainment room.

I really aught to get to decorating my ship, i'm just awaiting the last upgrade before I do...

How would a holodeck work? I guess I could build a fake environment, and camping stuff like you said. But the back wall is always the same, so it wouldn't really make sense to people who didn't know what it was.

you could replace the backwall. Far as I know. I guess you could build a small little structure where the outside is made of steel or some other metal, and on the inside would be an environment.

Also there is a sign maker in the outpost you could make a sign that has arrow pointing to room and say holodeck, then hang it right before the door.

Consider adding tenants. Also a tailor for crew outfits.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't not think military with most of these ships, since there are weapons on most of them.

Bridge, crew quarters, mess hall (sit and eat food), galley (cook food), med bay, engine room, toilets and showers are minimal to that design. Most players want a cargo hold.

I went with captain's quarters as well, plus 3 rooms for farming and animals.

I see crew use toilets, trash cans, vending machines, and dance if you have anything that plays a song (although the song's volume is actually controlled by the sound effect in options, and not the music in options). Beds and chairs, obviously, and you probably knew that having them already.

Note to self, pick a species with a better ship next time, because your ship has WAY more rooms than mine. I thought picking floran was essential for growing plants, but clearly not. Awesome design though, I'll have to adapt some of it into my current ship.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but if it wasn't obvious, I made big rooms into smaller rooms by placing my own floors.

Although the human is pretty big, the floran ship is much, much bigger, and could be made to have like... 14 rooms, plus the 2 smaller compartments

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I managed to rebuild the entire ship, and I'm much happier with the new layout. The game is almost perfect now! All we need is a mod for an Undertale character species....
