On a planet with fire rain.
Yeah I find it really odd walking around an Apex town heavily armed, and the guards are fine with it. Would they be okay if a bunch of rebels walked into town and did no other crimes?
Also note they will blame you for destroying housing if a meteor or house is burnned down before their eyes if you were in the vacinity of them when it happens. It is based on line of sight and vacinity mainly, so I like that change. Better than all guards are angry village wide because you didn't holster your weapon.
Be warned though that certain attack types can damage them. Namely environment type ones like a motolov where fire will do area of effect.
The other thing I like is that I can attack or ward off beasts without having to rely on guards to come and still be ok with the guards. Ran into lots of that in the past builds, where I was just trying to fend off the beast in the wild, namely birds, so they didn't kill me. You could alert the guards to drawn weapon then due to that even if it wasn't aimed at them.
So there are pros & cons to the old & new systems in place. :)
