Violium Broadsword vs Solus Katana

I already have the violium broadsword and the endgame armor, I just wanna know that is it still worth farming the solus katana? I've heard many people say how OP and badass it is, and that special attack looks awsome to me! But on the other hand, it has the same damage as the violium broadsword and is extremely rare ( or I'm just really really unlucky ). And not to mention that super boring quest dungeon ( that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ water pump ). I've spent like 5+ hours farming this katana but still no luck. And tbh, the only difference between the violium and the katana is the special attack but I still don't know why people prefer it over any other sword in the game.

You are fighting Asra in the right mission, right? I thought it dropped from her Ruin bossfight, but I might be wrong.

Have'nt reached the ruins yet but I think it drops from her regardless of where you fight her...

And the worst part, i got the figurine which is even rarer than the sword itself :(

I thought she always dropped the sword as she gave me one when I first fought her. So I took a friend to her so he could get one. He got the figurine. Now I can't get her to drop anything, but pixels.

I personally prefer the Violium Broadsword as it's special attack is easier to connect with and hits more times.
