And the slibbler is surely not a reference to the ruin as the slibbler is made of tongues not tentacles and the run is planet sized and would mostlikely destroy all ships instead of what the slippler does. The slibbler is probably more like a giant squid of the old sailors stories reference with a funny addon of no oen cna hear you pbbbbl in space (which is a reference too).
thats a sad one, hes the remain of a removed quest.
I wonder if the floran cave reference to the ruin is just another plothole. The old rperelease lore made earth being destroyed by the giant tentacle monster. Greenfinger (back then a character) knew about that.
However wiht the current story, the florans wouldn't know about the ruin that fast nor even paint such pictures I guess.
the ruins that the floran hunting party is set in is actually the remains of a underground glitch castle.
but yeah, im gunna edit the title to remove the easter egg part
and to edit further, I still believe in the sibbler being a somewhat nod to the ruin as the tentacles coming fro the skin etc
