Is there any way to move in water faster?

I settled down at an underwater Hyotl city and get quests to kill divers in a ruin at the other side of the planet all the time. Since it takes a lot of time to get there, I wondered of there is any way to move under water faster. Is there a way?

Not to my knowledge. Though you could place a flag on the island above each one you can just teleport to your ship and then to the other side.

I know there are boats for sale on the outpost just like the hoverbikes, not sure if there are uboats though.

Well, it will probably take some while until I can craft it, so I will go with the Flag for the moment. But thank you for the info!

I was fooled by this tech, thought I would swim faster as a ball :/

Hoverbikes work underwater and allow you to move along the ocean floor at a reasonable clip.

I guess you could build an underwater highway between the two.

You can buy Reef-Cola from vending machines found throughtout the game. It's kinda cheap, so you can fill your inventory with it, go to the ocean, and drink it as you need it.

there's a upgrade for the morph ball called aqua sphere and it allows you to move significantly quicker and more mobile when used underwater
