Farm animals not working!

Farm animals aren't working on singleplayer or when I host my own server. When I join other servers it does work. Please help!

They are full grown, just not harvestable. I can't press e on them and have them give me milk, cryonic extract, ect.

yeah it they dont seem to be getting to a point they are harvestable, they are fully grown, just not ready to be harvested ever.

Strange... click alt to see if they are highlight if not they have not produced not yet. but if you can't really harvest anything i recommend reinstall the game (after unistall and delete the starbound folder on steam).

If I did do that, wouldn't it remove my character? And couldn't I just verify the game chache? If not, please let me know. Thanks!

I only tested the muffalo that gives cryonic extract and it worked fine in singleplayer.
Singleplayer in this game is the same as multiplayer by the way. It still hosts a server.

I think my save file is corrupted.

My save files got messed up after a game crash. I had to restore an old player save file and then manually travel back to my planets to reset the bookmarks. I also had to create a new character to do the ship repair mission to get the shops working again at the outpost. The only problem left is that my animals won't produce anything (including the silk worms) and my colonists won't ever give me any gifts/pixels when I click on their deeds. At least that's the way it is on my home planet. I haven't tried on any others.

Just wait. Eventually, the fluffalo will either change color or have a special effect depending on the type (Chickens will look different, and mooshi seem to not have an indicator). When that happens, moving right next to it, hovering your mouse over it, and then pressing E will make the item appear. After that the animal will lose it's effect and you will need to wait again... then repeat.

Also having this issue.

farm animals have turned into decorations basically and are impossible to interact with.

I think you just have to kill your farm animals and replace them with new ones at this point. If you have the same problem with moth traps and colonists, you will have to take down the moth traps and Colony Deeds, then place them down again. Hopefully that will make them function correctly again.

Thanks, I burned the farm animals with lava and respawned new ones.
I didnt know about the colony deeds, awesome. everything just about back to normal save some flags still missing.

Hi. Same problem here. When I play in solo, none of my animals or plants will be harvestable. I need to breack my crops and replant them to remove the bug but for the animal there is nothing i can doo but kill them and buy new eggs. This happen when I connect my character on a friend's server (via steam => "join game") Once i'm on it, without being invited in the party, All my things are harvestable. I try to move my animal and a planet, leave and reopen the game, the bug was still here. This is a Bug that need to me fixed. For now the only thing I can do is wait for my friend to play starbound to harvest my aminals.
