I was sad reading how Glitch are always going to be stuck in the middle ages.
I miss how the birds could be creepy friendly, now they are all religion all the time.
I miss as a hylot having florans as enemies.
I don't remember all the old lore that well, but I do remember it worked so much better for role playing and had way more interesting npc or inspection flavor text.
I originally got into this game when it was really new thinking all the ways the races could be different and interesting. But over time they've dashed more and more any differences. I don't know who votes all the time to remove things like racial sail and unique back stories, but they must be rather boring people.
Basically, some pacifist didn't like that the hylotl hate the floran.
(P.S You can kill NPCs, you just need to break (steal) and take an item from their home).
The protectorate.
