What do i do with tech cards?
Just found two tech cards what are they for?

For opening techs. Do storyline until you get to the outpost(very soon) and do a chain of three quests there. It is kind of hard to miss.

There is a scientist who asks for 10 bars of copper, then silver, then gold. Do them ASAP. You get special abilities, the tech cards let you buy different versions of each ability.

how do you get gold, silver and copper bars?

You dig a hole in the planet and seek out the shiny stuff. The deeper you go, the easier it is to find gold. Then you refine the ore in the furnace.

alternatively, go to asteroids, they have a stupid amount of those ores (i've only needed to get copper about 3 times throughout my entire playthrough since its so ridiculously easy to get it there)
