Barren Planets? (Answered)
If gaming has taught me anything, it is that key phrases like "There is nothing here at all" means that there must be something there. I searched a baren planet for over an hour, and dug multiple "hellivators" with no success. No ores, no liquids, no animals, no loot, no people, not even a single cave. Has anoyone found anything on these planets?

Alternatively, Is this a good place for a settlement? I have no idea if the biome affects the desireability of my dwellings.

Barren planets are meant for harassment free settlements. I think the ship scanner even comments that they are a good place for settlements. There is nothing to find on a barren world.

They're supposed to be for large-scale construction. They don't affect tenants at all, except that they probably won't die ever.
Of course, they're not all that great without large-scale terraforming tools, but they make for a good rendition of cloud city.

The game currently lacks a large amount content, anything not denoted in the ores found here section of the scanner essentially doesn't exist.

If you find a boring useless rock, it's just as useless and boring as it appears.

Build a house on it.

Like they name suggest, they are barren. But for a settlement? If you wanan get revenu from Colony Deeds, how much people pay is related to the threatlevel of the planet. And Barren Planets have low threat.

But they make some good places to just build stuff without getting annoying by critters.

That's good to know, thanks!
