I'd say novakid gunner, as they're basically space cowboys with a shorter attention span.
Floran for tank, as they would want to be in the midst of the carnage.
I guess that leaves the mage as an apex. Magic in this game has a blurb about being based on technology, but CF doesn't do the best job of showing that.
...Thank you for making me have a flashback to an old TV show called "Monkey Magic", which was basically a prequel (and then part of) "A journey to the west". XD
Human = Wild Card (Humans are the hardest to stick to a role)
Apex = Support (Blinking around, boosting allies and throwing crap)
Avian = Mage (both helping allies and hitting lots of enemies)
Floran = Light Fighter (Dual wielding, running through carnage)
Glitch = Heavy Fighter (Hammers and axes and shields)
Hylotl = Sniper/Archer (3 eyes=better sniping, duh)
Novakid = Close Gunner (yeehaw, muh shotgun)
Everyone emits a small amount of light.
All players emit light slightly.
