The ghost is there probably to prevent people from farming the fuel, though tbh, it moves really slowly, so you can easily outrun it.

It might have been worded like a complaint, but it isn't. I actually like the moons. Just caught me by surprise

Well i would be pretty spooked if i were on a moon without breathable air, expecting fuel and getting a ghost with weird noises

Moons are celestial satellites from planets or dwarf planets. There are many ways on how a moon can be created. Either the planet captured a celestial body in it's gravity field or, like our moon, the moon got born by an huge impact thousands or millions of years ago. After some time the dust around the planet will form itself to a new celestial body which can be called a moon.

Hope I answered your question. :)

To your strikes:
Strike 1: This is because there is that creature on the moon.
Strike 2: What is so creepy about it?
Struke 3: Dark and barren.. Have you ever seen a colorfull moon with lots of ponies and butterflies with double rainbows? No? Me neither. Moons are dark and barren.
Strike 4: Why not? ;)

Edit: ^I see I was beaten to the joke.^

A moon is anything that naturally orbits a planet.

Interesting theories! Though, scientists do not really know. They are guessing.

Intersting theories! Though, scientists do not really know. They are guessing.
What if they aren't moons, but space stations!

Our Moon rang like a bell when something we flung at it hit it hinting it may be hollow. So, could be!
