How to get poison?

I want to craft batteries and for that I need poison but can someone explain how I can get poison in to my inventory?

Fluid upgrade on matter manipulator.

Well you need the liquid upgrade for your M.M. then you need to go to an Alien or Mutated World and you'll find pools of poison across the planet, then you can craft batteries to your hearts content. Just keep a small amount in a well on a world that has heavy rain as water will pool up in the well of poison and turn into poison as well.

No problem, I read that poison trick on reddit, its quite handy as I have a pool of poison outside my main crafting base every so often I'll come back and find the pool full of poultry and poison.

Yeah that's a smart way to always have a source of poison.

yes, just use some drop of healing water or poison in clean water an then the water transform.
