Acid Rain Protection

is their any acid rain protection? wanna explore some toxic planets. I made some antidote that helps with the poison but the rain still hurts me.

Acid rain is not pleasant.

there is an acid augment for the EEP's I intend to test for this purpose but I haven't had a chance to play today

does nothing on its own you need the anti-radiation augment.

okay so I need to find a eep augment for acid rain. Now that I am looking for it though I will never find it.

I'm standing under a roof right now waiting out the rain. I have the acid EPP augment and I can swim around in the oceans of poison on this planet and take hits from acid spitters without suffering the DOT but it sadly does nothing to protect me from the acid rain. :/

It seems to do physical damage, not acid.

Indeed, this is a BIG and annoying oversight. I have been similarly frustrated from poison rain.

Cover your head with block and bring poison antidote. I'm aware that antidote has no protection from the rain, but that's beside my point. After a couple meters under the water, acid rain cannot harm you.

Ironicly most of the good stuff on Toxic planets is at the bottom of the poison water, Tunnel underground make yaself a cubby drain otu the poison and explore downwards. I recamend the medkits as they stop the DoT from poison water briefly. Love the Mutant themed clothes.

I went to explore one toxic planet. ten seconds it started raining so I buckled down and waited it out. it took a full ingame day before it stopped. then ten more seconds it started raining again and took 2 more ingame days for it to stop raining. after 30 seconds of no rain it started again and I left. so they seem to be a complete waste of time. especially since the rain will destroy your boat excessively fast.

1.Stop focusing on the surface.
2.Acquire a poison block augment.
3.Go under the poisonous ocean. It stops all the rain when you get just a few blocks under.
4.Explore the ocean's floor. I don't really see the point in exploring these planets, they're quite boring.
