Small crop size
Fast grow time
Extremely long spoil time
3x baked potato in a camp fire will fill you up
Alternatively Rice
Uncooked has no spoil time
No spoil time means it will stack
Not as effective as potatoes
Yeah, I mostly make do with Pearlpea Risotto. It's pretty filling.
I always carry around a couple potatoes and a campfire for emergencies, though. And a few chocolate for small refills when I want constant regeneration.
Just to clarify i'm not having problems with food per se. I just like min/maxing. At the moment there arent really a good place to look for what food gives most hunger and is easiest to make.
So I would say go for something that has a very long spoil timer and easy to make like someone already said rice/potato. I mostly moved over to cooked food for buffs and not the hunger specificly. If it is hunger that I need to solve I plop down a campfire and biol a few rice that do stack nicely when not cooked, as rice does also have no spoil time.
I think most other crops are either less filling because they don't spoil in their raw state (wheat/rice), or are balanced around their other benefits (buffs). Potatoes have no buffs, they just fill you up a lot.
