Where to get scorched core?

I am at the point whrre i need to go to the frozen planets and havent gotten a single core yet anyone know where i can get 1?

Essentially any Volcano style monsters - Like the crab who shoots fire out of its head. Use the Bow or hunting spear on them.

Yeah man I had a huge problem with it. What I did was just go to a planet, plant a flag, and buy the magma fluffalo egg from her (being the farm women in the Outpost). Plop that down on that planet, gate it in, then come back after while. Little baby fluffalos will grow into big ones. Once they start emitting fire, walk up and hit E on em and they'll drop 1. You dont need to feed or water them. Set em, forget em, come back later.

What flag?

You can make a flag, just from the base C button crafting menu. I mean you could also just bookmark the planet so you know where it is.

What shop? All you have to do is hit C, and choose the flag. If you're a novakid its called the "Novakid Flag." etc If you're talking about the farm shop, pretty sure it's open from the very beginning.

That's really strange. I remember the shops opening after the Avian one...? Anyways, run around on Ocean planets looking for one of those Volcano Crabs, and kill it with a hunting bow or spear. That's the only option.

I just did one of the quests in the outpost where i had to fight a bunch of fire dudes and got 1 of the cores there,
