Light On EPP?
So, pre-1.0, I kept the Lanturn Stick as my Backpack item, so that I could see easily underground. However, now that the EPP's use up the backpack spot, I'm left in the dark, literally. Does anyone know if the EPP ever upgrades to provide light / does an Augment drop that gives it light generating abilities?

I can confirm that there is a light augment. Though, it was swallowed up when I upgraded the EPP.

You can also get a Lantum pet from colonist missions.

There are light augments for sure. I've found 2 light I's and a light II which I'm saving for max tier.

There are 3 light augments. Light I, Light II, and Light III. They seem to be the most common of all EPP augments

^THIS. There is no warning that changing the augment deletes the old one.

Found that out the hard way myself. Wasted a Light II *AND* a Poison Resist in the upgrade.

I saw on a wiki that a vendor sells the augment. Can anyone confirm?

The Apex that joins the outpost sells augments.

Well, if you get lucky and find a flamethrower (which I found in a sewer) then you don't really need the light augment. Just run around in the dark tapping once for instant light that is extremely sustainable.

So with that I can run a Damage III EPP and oneshot absolutely any non-boss monster with the max tier bow when I need to fight.

I've found four in my journeys. So either they are not TOO uncommon or I got lucky.

But the alternative is the flame sword you get from the colliseum battles, which has a flamethrower altfire that does the same job.

The flamethrower does work nice, if you are lucky enough to find it though. Same as the light augments for the EPP. So what is easier to do is making yellow stims, they make you glow, sadly you have to reapply the stim every 90 seconds I'm afraid.

Also make sure you save the better augments for when you have the latest EPP as with every upgrade the old EPP with the augment is used up and it doesn't transfer to the new one. Also you can only have one augment active at the same time.

I can confirm it, but to get him, you'll have to pass the Apex main mission (Esther's mission) in order to get the Apex military seller at the ark
