Ship Locker Storage
So does it ever expand because I'm gonna run out of space at this rate, or will I just have to add more chests? Adding more chests kinda sucks because they hold like 16 slots as opposed to the Ship Locker's 96.

Big crates. Also later you can get a bigger ship. Substantially bigger... or find a planet you like and make a house with storage. The world is your playground.

Some chests hold more than others, you can also craft a "Racial Locker", which is pretty much identical to your ship locker. You can craft those from a workbench under the "Storage" category"
