Capture pod is not working?
Hey!
I've tried this pod once, and somehow captured a hostile creature and it was like my pet or smth. I also tried getting its help, but he died in a second. But the question is slightly different: a dude from my settlement gave me a quest to capture him some little creature. I found the place (they were all around with blue triangles above them) but whenever I throw a pod at them it simply bounces off and keeps lying around. I tried that with other creatures - nothing, is always bounces off and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

One that is filled but the creature is dead is healed by a healing station from the creature station in the t3 inventors table, a filled capture pod cannot be reused to get a different creature, thats the jist of it i havent gotten a quest like that so no further information present for me.

The monster has to be under 50% of life,or 60.

First of all, let's talk about the capture mechanics, to capture a creature, they need to have 50% HP or less, it won't work, otherwise. Now, for the reason that the newly captured pets die in a second... They aren't healed from being capture. They keep the health they add when they got ball'd. To heal your pet, build a Pet station, that can be built from an Architect's Table (Tier 3 Inventor's Table), and build a Pet healing station from that.

The creature I was trying to capture had like 1 HP bar our of 5-6 or however much he had. I can tell the difference between a filled pod and empty one, thanks ;] The quest giver gave me an empty pod and asked to tame him a certain creature. The problem is that the pod just bounced off them. Just to make sure: I don't have issues with dead pets or something, I can't capture a pet that is low HP with an empty pod that I received from a quest giver.
