It was honestly better in the last stable build. hopefully enough people speak up and they fix it, or somebody gets tired of it and releases a mod.

I don't think the OP is talking about the brand new hotbar, but the UI in general. Considering the vast improvements made to pretty much every area of the UI in the past 4 years, and the language used, I also suspect the OP is just trolling.

The hotbar could use some work, a lot of people even on the official forums constantly bring it up, so far the devs haven't responded.

It's decent, however the inventory got worse. I'd rather it be limited to one box rather than spread out amonst several...bleh

I think Vanilla UI is perfectly fine and on par with other games of this type. Not sure what else you could do with it. That said, I'll keep my eye out for some good UI and Inventory mods.
