Archaic Energy Source?

Alright, so I'm on the starting planet. My ship is broken and I can't get anywhere.

My mission is to look around the planet. I came across some camp, and SAIL mentioned an archaic energy source. When talking to the guy, he mentioned core fragments. I got a literal ♥♥♥♥-ton of fragments after 3 hours of digging.

What the hell do I do now? The mission hasn't updated at all... I tried interacting with everything in the ship but nothing works.

I seem to be stuck?

interact with the thingy you found on the planet

there is a big building on the planet. just go right or left until you find it.. go there with your fragments (you should have about 20). use it

The mission was a bit misleading. It seemed to imply I needed the fragments to repair the ship.

The compass next to the mission button should point you toward the power source. This will also work for any other mission with a known location to travel to.

The core fragments were for a later part of the mission.
