I think that it's too slow, but I think the only way to go on with speech should be by pressing action button (e).

I hope an option is added to extend the time. The speech bubble tends to disappear before I'm through also.

If you go back to your chat, you can see all messages and text that was said in your game. (This includes any text said by a NPC)

There's NO text from NPC's speech bubbles in the log. The text speed is, indeed, quite annoying.

Currently playing the unstable build since the 1.0 refuses to work (even after deletions and reinstalls) but even there as a native english speaker the text vanishes far too fast as most of the time it pops up when you're busy doing something else.

Hate to think what it'd be like for someone that has english as a second language.

They could just make a keybind, like spacebar or something to move onto the next chat at the users will, it'll work in everyones favor, well im sure some people will ♥♥♥♥♥ about that too.

I'm having the same problem. I end up just cycling through until I can catch everything they say, but that doesn't work for the special occasions where they don't repeat something.
