Unable to Progress on Space Worthy Quest

So I have talked to the lady who stole Professor X's wheelchair and she told me to go speak to Penguin Pete. He is the pirate looking guy by the penguins doing work unless I'm mistaken. When I click on him my only option is to buy an auto chip and some stuff I can't afford. I'm unable to continue the quest. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Umm... did you get the mission at least?

If so do that and then return to pete.

I am guessing the first quest you get from the lil' lady at the gate, maybe...

A little bit of info, as unsure what point in the unstable build you are in. So it is the first quest correct? and the question I asked above.

It is the first quest after talking to the old lady, to make your ship space worthy. I went and I spoke to Penguin Pete, or at least I tried to. Is he the bearded human by the two working penguins, the first shop on your way back from the old lady?

Then You might have to do the mission that was given. Which would be the erchius mining facility mission. Don't remember if I talked to pete before doing that. I just know the next step on getting ship restored should have added a mission to the AI on ship. So I guess see if there is a mission to goto through the AI on ship.

Bout the only thing I can guess, unless it is to talk to the others at the outpost. I know the bear has a quest I think. Not sure when that is though. But the main story part which will be the only mission of story you are required to do will be that one I mentioned. After that it is up to you to follow the missions if you want to or not.

So Erchius Mining Facility should be it. I hope I spelt that corectly. Else the only other is looking around the outpost for meeting with people, if it is that quest.

Ah, which is triggered from the AI and sends you directly, doesn't it? When it said coordinates I was thinking that I needed to actually navigate my ship to the coordinates but if memory serves that is done via the AI interface...

Hopefully that is made a little more clear upon release because I didn't pick up on that right away even though I did it a long time ago already.
