Can´t join my own Server [Windows 10]
Hi, I got a problem. I start a server and try to connect to it by 127.0.0.1 and it just won't work.. tried my local ip as well and again... it won´t work. Even tried connection by using Tunngle and again.. nothing.. I already allowed starbound server in my firewall settings for private and public and i deactivated my avg antivirus programm. i even deactivated my firewall entirely and it just wont help.. I recently upgraded my win 8.1 to win 10 and don´t know if that is the issue.
It is just odd, that i myself can´t connect to my own server. I tried pinging myself [ping 127.0.0.1] and it worked fine.
Would be awesome if you guys could help..

dont use that ip, when hosting a server, use a website like "whatsmyip" to get the true address to follow

Already tried that as well, though it makes more sense to connect with 127.0.0.1 or my local ip. after all i want to connect to my own server.

I don't know really what you mean, so I'll just post how I do it.
I use Hamachi with friends so they can join, and just copy my ip from there. Then I go to the Starbound launcher and run "Launch Starbound Server" You can't close the cmd, or else it won't owrk. Then you go to multiplayer, put in your ip, and give it to anyone you want joining, and that's it.

to join a server hosted on your own PC, you need your internal network IP, which is different from your internet IP, as for how to find that, if of course all this exists on windows 10, if it doesen't you'll have to do some googleing, lol

1. Click on the Start menu and type cmd. When you see the cmd applications in Start menu panel, click it or just press enter.
2. A command line window will open. Type ipconfig and press enter.
3. You'll see a bunch of information, but the line you want to look for is "IPv4 Address."
