someone mind helping me out with my obs/Xsplit and starbound?

i tried to gamecapture starbound and got a bunch of errors then starbound crashes.


i tried to window capture starbound and nothing shows up or it just takes a screenshot of the frame it was on when i activated window capture and nothing else

after a bit of trying i tried to see if Xsplit would work better and i got the same problems..

i tried looking this up to see if anyone else had this problem or a solution to it and to put it blunty i had no idea what they were talking about so i was hoping someone could give me a really dumbed down explaination of what i need to do to fix my obs/Xsplit.

this problem isnt stopping me from screencapturing but god do i kinda hate using screen capture sometimes (cause i kinda have a habit to alt+tab'ing and WHO WANTS TO SEE THAT? no one does was the right awnser. so if anyone does know how to fix this please tell me.

i planned on posting there aswell but i figured i'd post them both here to see if i could get help from either source

same problem here and no solution yet... just the usual useless "blabla" like smaltite brought to us here too...
Game keeps crashing when OBS is grabbing the frames... and its NOT an OBS related problem so its totally senseless to post it on an OBS forum! If it was an OBS issue it would not occur when using xplit, dxtory or whatever too - but it DOES...
