Infinite water source?
Is there a way to make a vanilla infinite water source? Not on an Ocean planet.

I haven't come across any. If I'm not mistaken, the ocean watersource is actually part of the depth/biome code.

nope... just get a ♥♥♥♥ ton of water from an ocean planet, and put it on your non ocean planet.

There are also mods that can handle it for you, I believe.

Yes. But the key thing is vanilla. It's just one less mod I don't have to have installed.

/spawnitem liquidendlesswater
or

/spawnitem liquidendlesslava

If you want an infinite lava source. However, you won't be able to pick it back up. It will return as a single unit of water.

Neither of those actually work. You probably have a mod installed that gives them.

sorry, get my water from either vanilla oceans or FU well

GL
try this out. go into /admin mode and type this command, this will give you a "Trap" that spawns water, and you can turn it off and on with a lever. you could fiddle with the speed or amount to make it go faster.

/spawnitem ancientbouldertrap 1 '{"shortdescription":"Bottomless valve", "description":"An infinite source of liquid! Current attunement: water.", "fireTime":0.25, "fireTimeVariance":0.05, "inaccuracy":0.1, "projectile":"watersprinkledroplet", "projectileConfig":{"damageTeam":{"type":"indiscriminate"}, "power":0, "speed":25, "actionOnReap":[{"action":"liquid", "liquid":"water", "amount":4}]}}'
