Farm Animals in Ship?
Just a quick question, is it possible to have a farm animal like a mooshi or a fluffalo inside your ship?

Totally yes. I'd advise making some sort of pen for them as they wander around, although not as much as the racial pet.

Kay. Also, I'm trying to farm cotton in my ship as well, (Sorry, noob here), How do I make it plantable?

All you need to do for crops is to have a few tilled dirt blocks and enough empty spaces above those blocks. Place the seeds on the dirt that you've tilled with the hoe, then water them with the watering can. After a while, the plants will advance a growth stage and the dirt will get dry. Rewater and repeat until they've grown. Some plants will persist after harvest and will only need to be rewatered, but others need to be replanted from seeds.

Don't keep cattle and plants on your ship.
Bad idea, I just killed them all with lava because I couldn't stand them anymore. Animals get in the way of everything. Place them down at a colony instead and just go there and pick it up eventually. Lush planets are good for plants as well.

I have a farm in my ship and I'm okay with it.

Yes, I do as well. Just make an area the animals can not get out of. It works well to stick them up on platforms, the animals will not jump down.

Can also move them with the adaptable crossbow and staff secondary push/pull.

Make a farm in the ship is a good idea until you find a nice place for start a colony. Dont forget aquatic plant dont need to be watered , pretty usefull : you can wander how long you want and when you come back to your ship these plants are probably ready for harvesting.

Farm animals are supposed to give a consistent supply of product without requiring any sort of maintenance (other than regular harvests). If they've stopped producing things, then that's due to some form of bug. You may as well kill them with lava at that point - there's no way to fix broken farm animals AFAIK.

I have a habit of refurbishing the Apex research labs with the glass tops. The pens just above ground level do a decent job of separating the types of animals I'm farming.

Once you've gotten your ship to a respectable size, it's not that difficult to have an in-ship farm. While it's smaller, it's a bit of a pain in the ass due to them managing to get everywhere if you forget to close a gate or door. I much prefer having the sprinklers do my plant growth, so I try to skate by on crafting until Durasteel becomes available.

As a general tip, if you need silk or canvas, the general store at the Outpost (on the far left) has it available to buy. I found this a bit faster than harvesting cotton and processing it.

Drop lava on them. Or use a relocator (top tier foraging table).
