Removing space station rooms?

Is there a way to remove space station rooms? I'm worried that I might place down something i don't want to. I have searched online, and all I found was posts from around July in 2017 saying to delete my space station in the game files. I don't want to do that. Is there any other way to do it in game?

You would need to disable block protection on the frames. I'm pretty sure there's intstructions around here somewhere, maybe even a guide.

There is no legitimate method to do so in-game, aside from one single post I have seen recommending the use of an advanced command along with disabling tile protection.

Only way is to turn off space station protection, and break the blocks yourself. You could always just spawn in a new station transponder (/spawnitem stationtransponder) and rebuild the rooms you already had in admin mode. If you want to turn off space station tile protection I've made a guide on it, and someone has made a mod that adds it as an option into the space station control panel if you want to go down that route.
