was there a recent update that could be causing this?
there's the log, looks like theres some error with a mod but it just shows a number in my folders, if I go and can that one thats causing a problem wont steam just re-add it until I unsub from it?
Edit* im blind, inspect object name prob means its the "Object names updated" mod i'll try killing that and see if that works
[09:37:37.078] [Error] Application: exception thrown, shutting down: (StarException) Asset source 'Inspect Object Name (iincludes FU items)' is missing dependency 'FrackinUniverse'
Looks like that mod requires Frackin Universe and you dont have it installed
I'm not seeing anything wrong in there, looks like it closed normally but before starting any characters. Did you quit the game from the title screen? Play until it crashes and it should record what made it crash. Although if it did quit on its own, it didn't leave anything in there to say why.
Also, make sure you're uploading the right log. If you have file extensions turned off, you'll see a text file called Starbound. If they're on, it's Starbound.log. Don't upload any of the Starbound.log.1 - 5 files.
One of them said right click Starbound in the library, go to Properties, click Set Launch Options and if there's anything in there, delete it.
Another couple said it might be a broken mod or too many mods.
Going to look again, see if anything else comes up.

EDIT - found the conflicting mod, disabled it and now it launches. The Nightar mod was the one responsible for the crashing.
