It makes the game much more complicated and you might feel lost, even about vanilla mechanics
... To be honest I don't even know if there are ore dust in FU
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1926372302
The FU-system is like vanilla:
2x Copper Ore = 1 Copper Bar
FU DOES add an addition to this system:
1x Iron Bar (extracted) = 1 Liquid Iron (that can be used to make 2 Iron bars which is how FU handle smelting efficiency not to mention some processes give you liquid metals as a byproduct
Also @Arpente Reves, the idea you don't like FU due to complexity is 1 thing...but what you're saying is simply misleading....FU has it's OWN tutorial AND storyline missions AND IN ADDITION allows you to buy codexes about how to do stuff in FU at the outpost Terramarket AND giving you the first 4 volumes free on any character creation....
So the fact you cba'd to read speaks more about your own ability to handle info FU gives you than FU being overly complex. Freck; later on you can make and place monitors that will actively tell you what you will get from which materials/processes.
I have hundreds of hours in this mod
It's just that it's clearly not a mod made for players who barely know how to play vanilla starbound
