Temperate Stars have Titanium. If you are still orbiting a Gentle Star, you need to move on.

Titanium is a light bluish grey with darker spots on it.

According tothe wiki they are found on tier 3 and 4 planets (Risky and Dangerous, respectively). Those are:

Risky (Tier 3): Ocean, Savannah, and Snowy
Dangerous (Tier 4): Jungle, Toxic, Mutated.

Tier 3 requires no EPP (except Ocean, which requires a breathing EPP).
Tier 4 requires a Radiation EPP.

Titanium will not be found on the surface, but a little bit down. Search for it about 20 blocks or deeper.
thanks I had just gone to a star and gone to a risky snow planet and just dyg with my mech a found a bunch

if you need help ive found a helpful hint in traveling between the stars.
the stars themselves have tiers that they place planets in.
Gentle Stars have low-moderate planets
Temperate stars have moderate-risky planets
Radioactive Stars have risky-dangerous
Frozen Stars have dangerous-extreme planets
Fiery stars have extreme-inconcieveable planets

so finding titanium and durasteel you probally want to goto radioactive stars, me personally id find a jungle planet.

Tip where you can always find the location of ores you want to mine:
-If you check you Furnace and click on the ore/bar you want to find, and read the description it says on what kind of star you can find it.
-There is a mod ("more planet information" < not sure) that show what kind of ores are on the planet

If you're playing on Fracking Universe, then Mountain planets are the best for most minerals.
