where are you supposed to find keypad codes??

i had a quest with the prompt "search for clues" that led me to some underground hideout, but then theres no quest arrow pointing to anything, and there are no handprints for me to scan. there is one guy in a room i cant open cause theres a keypad there, but i never picked up any kind of code or anything. what exactly am i supposed to do here?

That's not the most specific description but I take it this is a peacekeeper mission? Not sure if it is the same one but I do recall having some trouble accessing the last outlaw at one place, but there was a secret door in another section of the base that let me basically use the vents to drop into the locked room. Maybe it's something like that?

ive run into this puzzle twice before basically search for clues(either handprints, notes in chests etc.) and itll send you to the next phase as usual but next phase they'll give you the key code

Having the same issue now, there are literally no clues. Help.

EDIT: The note was in the trash can outside. I want to smack the devs in the face so hard.

The one I got was literally 0000. I brute forced it. The chances of that have to be VERY slim

I once got one that was 1234. It's amazing, I have the same combination on my luggage!

One of the notes in the bounty should have the code on it-- it destroys itself after you use it, by design.

You get it at the next planet after fighting their henchmen ;)
