it's not unnecesarily difficult to create a mod, i could do that right now, if i wanted to. i doubt they thought it would be a cheat, but instead simply didn't think to add it in. they aren't really suppressing cheat mods, considering there's a entire category dedicated for cheat mods on the workshop.
they are talking about binding a key for warping up and not just using your mouse then click on the warp up button...
Btw there are mods to help with the TC's problem. I'm using the portable tech and warp console, when needing to teleport away, I just switch to that console in my hotbar and use it, no key bind needed. Case solved.
