Anyone know how to make a Infinite water source on any planet?
Just wondering if anyone figured out if you can with some weird starbound invention. Not a fan of mods. Rather have vanilla way to do it. I have a fish tank on a desert planet. Going into the tank drains the water. I made it that way. Need a way to top it off automatically.

If I'm not mistaken the infinite liquid sources in vanilla are part of the biome assets. The "empty" background tiles of the ocean biomes fill the foreground with liquid.

Yes I know. Was wondering if anyone ever made a invention to do it anywhere. Something that tricks the game mechanics into giving free water. Something like a fuel generator people had come up with but instead gives water.

The only things I'm aware of that can act like this would be rain... More specifically storms. Not ever storm drops water though..
Just soak up a ton of ocean water, then build a huge water tank above and to one side of your pool and top it off once in a while. I would think that would work.

The only way to make an "infinite" water source is through modding, and there are at least two such mods that I know of. I'll post them when I get to my computer.

Thanks. I used to use a mod for it. Maybe thought someone may have come up with a vanilla way. Oh well, Back to mods then. Thanks everyone.
