in a clean version of starbound, you can not buy ore but you can buy the bars once you have made some yourself (i think). its that wierd bear mining shop in the stop shop town or whatever you want to call it. have to complete its quest first though, which is easy to do anyways. The prices are not worth it though IMO. I can mine about 800 or an in hour of any kind and copper/silver/gold you can mine 1000+ in 10 minutes if you know where to look.

I would not be surprised if there is some magicall ore making cow or somting in that mod that just gives you what ever ore you want or maybe there is a shop that gives ore away for free some where.

Thanks sugam! well with automation, i have automated a lot of rice plants and i can sell a ton for lots of money so this is a viable way for me to farm for my stations

ah yes, rice...I use to live off that staple tell I discovered spooky pie and alien juice. I really liked rice, as well as sugar, coco and wheat seeing you can stack them before cooking.

But if you are after money, its not bad to just ransack a tier 6 village and sell everything. I tried selling the ore but they just dont pay enough (amazing how silver and gold is worth almost nothing). I also get some money from tenants over time, some times its an item but ussualy its 450-600 pixels a person.

Also gave the space station trading a shot and its not worth it ether, but I can understand why seeing its stupidly easy to run from on point to another.
