Next time you're out and about, make sure to collect blocks you haven't seen before (be careful of angering NPCs, though) so you can craft more of them later.
The quests generally have randomized access to associated blueprints, rather than guaranteed, in my experience.
I usually have to run the mining facility 2-3 times on a character before I get the locker blueprint, for instance.
Unfortunately, getting a blueprint for the furniture generally does not automatically get you the recipes for the pre-req materials, so you still have to find and harvest the blocks.
Exactly. Ocean planets are best because you can both get the blocks and scan the stuff for Space Grandma and then get block-related furniture.
Well, I'm pretty sure the worldtype you're describing is unique to that mod... :D
