[SUGGESTION] Level to Crew Members.
So, I was thinking about it, I don't know if devs would do that, but probably someone that likes do to MOD could do that, so I will post here my Suggestion to Crew Members and see what the community think about, it's a TL; DR discussion, so please, if you want to spend some time reading, it would be great to see what do you think about it.

First of all, sorry for the bad English, I'm from Brazil, but I hope you do understand at least the most important point about the discussion and let's get it going...




I was looking to some Crew Members to the ship and I notice... There are so much stupid roles that I don't know why should we pay attention to it. I mean, we need those stupid NPCs to improve your ship, but at the same time, they just move around, getting in the way of storage and annoying us for no reason... So I think "what if we could increase the level of those Crew Members to be really useful?"

That's my idea, every single Crew Member ROLE star with level 0, this means even if you dismiss a single Crew Member, once you acquire a new one with the same role, he will start in the level you let it before, this way you can maintain the level role.

Starting in level 0 you can do missions to Crew Members, missions as acquires another Crew Member, or decoration, or giving some items, those kinds of missions. Once you do some missions to that role, it will increase to level 1 and up to level 3, by doing more and more missions. Once you acquire level 3, all Crew Members of that role will be level 3 even if you just acquire a new Crew Member.

CHEMIST:
AT LEVEL 0:
-Give only one random Boost [Jump, Run, Rage or Glow] permanent inside Ship.
-Once leave the Ship, Boost maintains for 30 Seconds.
-Can not bring Crew Member to planets with you.

AT LEVEL 1:
-Give only one random Boost [Jump, Run, Rage or Glow] permanent inside Ship.
-Once leave the Ship, Boost maintains for 60 Seconds.
-Can not bring Crew Member to planets with you.

AT LEVEL 2:
-Give two random Boosts [Jump, Run, Rage or Glow] permanent inside Ship.
-Once leave the Ship, Boosts maintains for 60 Seconds.
-Can not bring Crew Member to planets with you.

AT LEVEL 3:
-Give two random Boosts [Jump, Run, Rage or Glow] permanent inside Ship.
-Once leave the Ship, Boosts maintains for 120 Seconds.
-Can bring Crew Member to planets with you.
*While Crew Member is close to you, Boost is permanent.

ENGINEER:
AT LEVE 0:
-Every day increase ship fuel efficiency by 1% up to 10%.
-Once you get inside the Ship, the Engineer will tell you how much efficient is the ship fuel.
-Can not bring Crew Members to planets with you.

AT LEVEL 1:
-Every day increase ship fuel efficiency by 2% up to 30%.
-Once you get inside the Ship, the Engineer will tell you how much efficient is the ship fuel.
-Can not bring Crew Members to planets with you.

AT LEVEL 2:
-Every day increase ship fuel efficiency by 3% up to 60%.
-Once you get inside the Ship, the Engineer will tell you how much efficient is the ship fuel.
-Can bring Crew Members to planets with you.

AT LEVEL 4:
-Every day increase ship fuel efficiency by 4% up to 80%.
-Once you get inside the Ship, the Engineer will tell you how much efficient is the ship fuel.
-Can bring Crew Members to planets with you.
*I can't reach 100% because with 100% you don't use fuel to travel.

JANITOR:
AT LEVEL 0:
-Move around the Ship cleaning and trying to look helpful. [Mopping]
-Can not bring Crew Member to the planet with you.

AT LEVEL 1:
-Move around the Ship cleaning and trying to look helpful. [Broom]
-Tells you the Day and Night period of the Planet you are overflying.
-Can not bring Crew Members to Planet with you.

AT LEVEL 2:
-Move around the Ship cleaning and trying to look helpful. [Floor Washing Machine]
-Tells you the Day and Night period of the Planet you are overflying.
-Tells you the period of time right now of the Planet you are overflying.
-Can bring Crew Members to Planet with you.

AT LEVEL 3:
-Move around the Ship cleaning and trying to look helpful. [Floor Washing Robot]
-Tells you the Day and Night period of the Planet you are overflying.
-Tells you the period of time right now of the Planet you are overflying.
-Can bring Crew Members to Planet with you.

-Every single day increases ship fuel capacity by 10 up to 200.
-Can not bring Cre Members to Planet with you.

AT LEVEL 1:
-Every single day increases ship fuel capacity by 50 up to 1000.
-Can not bring Cre Members to Planet with you.

AT LEVEL 2:
-Every single day increases ship fuel capacity by 500 up to 10000.
-Can bring Cre Members to Planet with you.

AT LEVE 3:
-Every single day increases ship fuel capacity by 1000 up to 19000. [20k = Max Capacity]
-Can bring Cre Members to Planet with you.

TAILOR:

AT LEVEL 1:
-Change Crew Member uniform of a table with 3 kinds of uniforms.
-Can not bring to Planets with you.

AT LEVEL 2:
-Change Crew Member uniform of a table with 6 kinds of uniforms.
-Can bring to Planet with you.

AT LEVEL 3:
-Change Crew Member ROLE uniform of a table with 10 kinds of uniforms.
-Can bring to Planet with you.

I was intended to post some Missions that make sense to Crew Members.
Shared Missions that any Crew Member can ask and specific missions to specific roles, but the Community blocked me for posting too much =/

This is definitly a great idea ! Should be added in the game, it brings so much more things to do with them.

When I first started Starbound, I assumed this was in the game already, got really disapointed when I saw the truth. So yea, I support this.

Also, some way to remove that annoying glow. Yea, you can always dismiss that crew member, but that isn't a real solution, is it?
