Attention Gamepad users: Improved PS4/XB/Switch profile now live!
Some of you more dedicated gamepad users maybe familiar with my earlier controller profiles for Pinnacle Game Profiler and Xpadder for Starbound and numerous other games.
Well, now that Steam has native PS4 support and some crazy features I'm back at it again. (No crazy features for Starbound currently, but my Elite Dangerous profile combines native support with a touchmenu for music control and Nvidia streaming. I'll be uploading that later today.) And I've created what I feel is a very intuitive control scheme, building off of the base one. It was a nice layout but lacked a lot of features, so I've made it better and made it accessible to everyone.

Here is my current mapping:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1522621548

Left Stick: Move and duck
L3: Camera Look
Right stick: Mouse cursor
R3: Toggle Walk / MM Precision / Interface modifier
X: Jump
Square: Interact
Circle: Headgear
Triangle: Inventory / (Hold) Quest Log
R1: Hotbar right / (Hold) Swap Hotbars
R2: Left Click
L1: Hotbar Left / (Hold) Swap Hotbars
L2: Right Click
Share: Crafting Menu / (Hold) Drop Item
Options: System Menu
D-pad UP: Matter Manipulator / (Hold) Beam Up/Down in a Mech
D-pad Down: Search Mode / (Hold) Beam Down / (Double Tap) Empty Hands
D-pad Left: Wire Mode / (Double Tap) Hotbar Slot 1
D-pad Right: Paint Mode / (Double Tap) Hotbar Slot 6 / (Hold) Highlight
Touchpad: Mouse
Touchpad Click: Left Mouse

I really wanted to do an Emotes touchmenu but the touchpad mouse is too valuable (and Steam didn't have a good set of icons for it) and doesn't feel right if it's only using half the pad (I could have half the pad mouse and half the pad menu)

Anyway, the profile is uploaded to the Community section of the controller configs browser so look for Roland's Starbound Configuration and download from there. Feel free to modify to you comfort levels, and any feedback or suggestions are welcome.

And yes this works with 360 and Switch Pro controllers, (it can be found by hitting the button to show configs for other controller types) you'll just have to use the right stick and trigger as the mouse instead of the touchpad. You may have to adjust the sensitivities to suit your comfort level.

UPDATE:
Here's a link directly to it from a Steam browser window:

Sorry I never updated this when the feature was added.
(You may have to copy and paste the link into the address bar)

I'm not a developer. I have no control over the keyboard controls.

I've updated the first post to add a link directly to the profile and I've added the improvements I've made to it
